PDFZora Terms and Conditions

Last updated: September 30, 2026

PDFZora is a set of online tools for working with PDF files. The tools we offer today are free to use. These are the terms you accept when you use them. They cover what the tools are for, what happens to the files you bring here, and what we are and aren't responsible for.

Each section ends with a one-line summary so you can skim the page. The summaries are a guide; the section above them is the part that applies. If you don't agree with any of it, please don't use the site.

01Use of Our Service

The tools on PDFZora convert, edit, split, merge, and compress PDF files. They're built for your own documents and your own work.

By using the site you're telling us that:

  • You've read these terms and you'll stick to them.
  • You'll follow the law where you live.

There are also a few things we don't allow:

  • Using the tools for anything illegal, or to harass or harm someone.
  • Trying to break into the site, overload our servers, or push spam through them.
  • Scraping the site in a way that slows it down for everyone else.
  • Collecting information about other people who use the site.

If any of that happens, we can block access to the site. Section 07 explains how.

Plain summary

Use the tools for lawful work, and don't cause trouble for the site or the people on it.

02Your Files

2.1 How your files are handled

Some PDFZora tools do their work on your own device. That is how the browser-based utilities behave, and it means the file or the values you enter stay with you. Other tasks need more computing power than a browser can offer, so a copy of the file is sent to our servers, or to a service provider working for us, and the finished result comes back to you. The tool page tells you which applies.

A file is used only to carry out the task you asked for. Temporary processing copies on our systems are deleted within one hour (60 minutes) of the task finishing. We do not keep the result once you have downloaded it. That window covers our own processing copies. A provider that handled a file for us keeps its own operational records under its own terms, as the Privacy Policy describes.

You own everything you upload. You're also the one answerable for it, so only bring files here that you have the right to use.

2.2 What you're responsible for

Processing is largely automated. Access to file content is limited to what is needed to run, maintain, secure or support the service, or to meet a legal obligation. Where a service provider performs part of the processing for us, it handles the information for that purpose as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal data. What you do with the finished file is your call, and it has to be lawful, including under copyright and privacy law.

Plain summary

The files are yours. Browser tools stay on your device. Server copies are temporary, access is limited, and we do not sell personal data.

03Cookies & Privacy

PDFZora uses essential cookies and Google Analytics. PDFZora does not currently run advertising or use advertising cookies.

Our Privacy Policy is the fuller description of what we store, for how long, and how to block analytics cookies. If this page and that one differ, rely on the Privacy Policy.

Plain summary

Essential cookies and Google Analytics are in use. There are no advertising cookies today.

04No Warranty

The tools are provided as they are. We test them and fix what we can, but we can't promise a tool will never fail, that the site will be up every minute of the day, or that a converted file will come out looking exactly like the original. Give your result a quick look before you send it somewhere that matters.

Plain summary

We can't promise perfection, so check your file before you rely on it.

05Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, PDFZora is not responsible for losses arising from use of the site, including lost files, lost income, or the cost or time required to repeat work.

Plain summary

Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The PDFZora name and logo, the design of this site, and the text we publish on it belong to us. You can't copy, reuse, or republish any of that without our written permission.

The fonts, icons, and open-source libraries used on the site belong to the people who made them, under their own licences.

Plain summary

Our brand and content are ours. Third-party fonts, icons, and libraries belong to their makers.

07Blocking Access

Nobody has a profile here, so there's nothing for us to close. If someone misuses the site, we can still block the requests coming from a particular device, network, or IP address.

That can happen when someone:

  • Breaks these terms.
  • Copies our code, design, or content.
  • Scrapes, spams, or attacks the site in a way that affects other people using it.
  • Has to be blocked for legal reasons, or is hitting a tool we've retired.
Plain summary

Nothing to close here, but we can block a device or network that causes trouble.

08Changes to the Service & These Terms

Tools get added, improved, and sometimes retired, and we may change or remove any part of the site at any time. PDFZora's current tools are free to use, and we do not currently ask for card or bank details. If that changes, we will say so in these terms first.

These terms can change too. When they do, the date at the top of the page changes with them, and the version you're reading is the one that applies.

Plain summary

The tools and these terms can change. The date at the top tells you which version you're reading.

09Governing Law

These terms are governed by Indian law. If a dispute comes out of them, it's handled by the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Plain summary

Indian law applies, and disputes are settled in Hyderabad.

10Contact

If any of this is unclear, or you think we've got something wrong, email info@pdfzora.com or use the Contact Us page. We read what comes in.

The short version

  • Free, with nothing to pay: PDFZora's current tools are free to use, and we do not currently ask for card or bank details.
  • Files aren't stored: a browser tool keeps the file on your device. A server tool uses a temporary copy, deleted within one hour (60 minutes) of the task finishing.
  • Hyderabad jurisdiction: Indian law applies, and disputes go to the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
  • Plain summaries: every section ends with a one-line version of what it says.
